What do you do with the refrigerant when…
The most common situations, with what needs to happen and who does what.
Supermarket switching to CO₂
When a supermarket replaces an R404A or R507A system with CO₂ (R744), all of the old refrigerant must be recovered before the plant is dismantled. On paper it is hazardous waste, but once reclaimed it is refrigerant the market still needs. We handle the collection, the paperwork and the record for your logbook, with a price per store that is set upfront.
